Malaga Airport
Malaga Airport has maintained its position as 4th busiest in Spain when it was used by 1.53 passengers in August 2011. The airports authourity has stated that 22.8 million passengers flew to or from Spanish airports in August this year of which 15 milllion came from abroad. This is an increase of 7.4% on the same time last year so there are clearly more visitors heading to Spain; only Madrid, Barcelona and Mallorca airports came ahead of Malaga. This is fantastic news for Spain as a whole and of course for our area of Duquesa. The links to this area are getting better and better with the improvements to Gibraltar and Malaga airports and the new motorway that has opened in Malaga improving links to Granada, Cordoba and Seville. Due to a high demand by holiday makers, Barrington Holidays is increasing its portfolio of holiday rental apartments this year and so if you have any property in the Duquesa area that you would like to have listed with us please contact us. The developments that we need properties in are: Los Granados, La Noria, Marina del Castillo, Marina Duquesa and La Perla de la Bahia.
