My Barringtons

The onslaught of tourists in the 50s and 60s changed the shape of Torremolinos forever. Bars, restaurants and shops are crammed into the centre of town, which buzzes with tourist activities.

The pedestrianised Calle San Miguel is the place to spend time soaking up the Torremolinos atmosphere. Recently Torremolinos has undergone vast redevelopment resulting in more parks, green zones, flowers and trees.

The old part of town has stood the test of time and remains a charming and traditional area where people can enjoy true Spanish culture and traditions. The unique clash of historical townships and modern high-rises actually works in Torremolinos that is worth a visit for a family holiday and a fun day out.
