Alcaidesa

Alcaidesa is a rapidly developing area in the province of Cadiz. Set in a beautiful valley which descends down to a pristine 'Blue Flag' beach, Alcaidesa enjoys stunning natural beauty and a picture perfect setting. The area is being developed from the project of a Master plan which will include 6 golf courses, commercial centres and numerous luxury properties. Alcaidesa is home to Andalucia's only links golf course, it is more reminiscent of a Scottish seaside layout, complete with heather and gorse bushes. The views are spectacular, the Rock of Gibraltar looks incredibly close and views extend to the Atlas Mountains in North Africa. Sport plays a large part in the social activities in this area. Alcaidesa is included within Spain's golden triangle of golf which incorporates the world famous courses of Valderama, San Roque and Sotogrande.

Alcaidesa is an impressive location and as such its real beauty lies in its tranquillity. The careful and restricted development of this area has resulted in Alcaidesa becoming a hugely popular resort due to its tranquillity, beautiful modern architecture and tropical plants and of course the only links Golf course in Andalucia. The fantastic unspoilt beach is the centre of activity throughout the year. It has been granted the prestigious 'Blue Flag' award and it is dominated at by the impressive Rock of Gibraltar.

For those seeking a fantastic golf course or a relaxing and quiet day out on the beach Alcaidesa is the place to be!
